Lorraine D. Cork has recieved another accolade for “Leo la Superstar!” – although this time in the UK. The Golden Wizard Book Prize, the world’s most prestigious children’s book awards program has recognised her work by giving her a WINNER status.
When we asked Lorraine how she felt about receiving a prize in her home country she said: “It is such a priviledge to be acknowledged…and particularly by an organisation in the UK, as I don’t live there anymore and so you think that everyone has forgotten all about you and then BANG! you find out people still care.”
Lorraine went on to tell us that she was working on a third bilingual book and that it was coming out in the middle of 2024. “What’s your new story about?” we asked her. “I can’t tell you” she replied laughing. “It’s a top secret!”
